Harley Davidson dealerships host fundraisers for flood victims | Business

SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) - The Bootheel Harley Davidson will be holding a fundraiser May 23-July 2 to raise money for area flood victims.
Bootheel Harley Davidson and Black Diamond Harley Davidson in Marion, Ill. will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a new 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Tickets cost $10 for one or $20 for four. You must be present on July 2 to win.
The goal is to raise $40,000 in 40 days. All proceeds will go to flood victims in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.
There will be chances to win other prizes as well, including: a week stay at a timeshare in Daytona Beach and a gift basket valued at $250.
Both dealerships will also be collecting items such as non-perishable food, blankets and personal hygiene products that will be donated to the American Red Cross. Teddy bears will also be sold for a minimum donation of $5 and given to children displaced by the floods.
