Blodgett hosts candlelight vigil for domestic violence awareness month | Community Spirit
BLODGETT, MO (KFVS) - A candlelight vigil for domestic violence awareness month will be held on Tuesday October 8 at 7 p.m. at Blodgett City Park.
Representatives from local shelters and local law enforcement will be present as guest speakers.
Kassie Roland, 9, a survivor, will be helping light the candles and reading a poem.
Mayor Richard Riley will be making a special proclamation declaring October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the community's commitment to combating the problem.
