Community Walk for Diabetes scheduled for Sept. 15 | Community Spirit

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - The Community Walk for Diabetes event will be in Sikeston on Saturday, Sept. 15.
Registration for the event will start at 10 a.m. It costs $10 for adults 13 and up, $5 for children ages five to 12 and $50 per teams. The opening ceremony will be at 11 a.m. with the walk starting immediately after. Closing ceremony starts at 5:30.
There will be a silent auction, Lordchain will be performing, and anyone who preregisters will receive a free t-shirt. You may contact organizer Jordan Crawford with any questions at jordiemc98@live.com.
The walk will be at the Sikeston First Assembly Park Grounds on North Ingram. Proceeds will go to the American Diabetes Association the help stop diabetes.
Crawford says there will be a smaller track for children and entertainment, food and prizes.
