Oran man with criminal history found with firearms, drugs | Crime
SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS) – An Oran man has been arrested on firearms and drug related charges.
Joshua Lee Rogers, 27, was found in possession of a handgun, marijuana and other controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Office.
Scott County Deputy Jody Chaney stopped Rogers near Oran. Oran Police Chief Gregg Ourth was conducting a related investigation on a case involving Rogers. Chaney and Ourth worked together to make the arrest.
Rogers has been charged with a class C felony of unlawful possession of a firearm, class C felony of possession of controlled substance, class A misdemeanor of possession of marijuana and a class A misdemeanor of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
According to the sheriff’s office, Rogers has an extensive criminal history in multiple states and currently has charges pending with another county in Missouri.
Rogers was taken to the Scott County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000 cash or surety.
