Traffic stop leads to marijuana charge for Sikeston man | Crime
MINER, MO (KFVS) - A Sikeston man was arrested after police stopped his car and found what appeared to be marijuana.
Dustin Ruby, 28, of Sikeston is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
A Miner police officer stopped Ruby's vehicle on H Highway for a traffic violation. During the stop, the officer smelled a strong marijuana odor from inside the vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, the officer found a large amount of what appeared to be marijuana.
Ruby’s bond was set at $1000 cash only. He later posted to bond to appear in Scott County court.
