Rep. Emerson to check progress on river channels, rail system | News
SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS)- Dredging operations continue along portions of a low Mississippi River.
Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson will make a stop in southeast Missouri on Friday to check on the progress of keeping river channels open.
She is scheduled to arrive at the SEMO Port in Scott City at about 1:30 Friday afternoon.
While there, the congresswoman will also observe the new rail system that was put in place.
