Attorney: Miner man found not guilty of sodomy charges
MINER, MO (KFVS)- A Miner man has been found not guilty of sodomy charges, according to his lawyer.
According to Webb's attorney, James M. McClellan, on Wednesday, a Scott County jury found Michael Webb not guilty of two counts of felony statutory sodomy.
McClellan says the state claimed Webb had touched a girl sometime between 2006-11.
McClellan says two social workers who investigated the hotline report testified that the child admitted that she lied.
The attorney says Webb feels vindicated and is grateful the truth has prevailed.
