Missing Chaffee man found after running off the road in Wayne County | News

SCOTT COUNTY, MO (KFVS)- Sheriff Rick Walter says an elderly man that went missing Sunday morning has been found in Wayne County, Missouri.
Walter says the man, who has dementia, left his home upset after believing someone had taken a gun clip.
The sheriff says the man left in his car
and the family became concerned.
Deputies began a search for the man.
Later Sunday morning, the man's car reportedly ran off
into a ditch somewhere in Wayne County. He got out of the car, and knocked
on the door of a nearby home. The sheriff says he called for his family to be picked up.
The family was on their way to get the man and take him to a
hospital to get checked out.
