Morley man facing narcotics, weapons charges | News

MORLEY, MO (KFVS)- The Scott County sheriff says a Morley man is facing drug and gun related charges after a search of his home reportedly turned up the items.
Christopher S. Shipman, 39, of Morley, has
been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a
controlled substance, and four counts of unlawful use of a firearm. Bond was set at $100,000.
According to Walter, Shipman was illegally in possession
of several guns.
During service of
the search warrant, Walter says multiple guns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia and
precursors commonly associated with the manufacturing process of
methamphetamine were allegedly seized.
Walter says a substance
which field tested positive for methamphetamine was also reportedly found inside the home.
During the search of the Shipman
residence, investigators also say they found assorted wildlife remains which were
turned over to the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Shipman was taken to the
Scott County Jail with the possibility of additional charges being filed.
