Migrating visitors arrive in southeast Missouri | Urban Wildlife
SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Sikeston has had a lot of migrating birds in the past couple weeks.
Most are heading from the south back to their northern summer homes.
This Grosbeak looks like it is the first time he has seen a Cardinal and giving him a good lookover.
The Baltimore Orioles have also been plentiful. They came in for about a week, eating furiously, and then disappeared on their way.
Along with a Yellow Warbler and our regular Cardinals, Blue Jays, Doves, Sparrows and Red Headed Woodpeckers, it has been a colorful couple of weeks.
