SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - House hunting - bird version

This pair of sparrows were looking at bird houses in Sikeston. After checking out two houses in the area, and excitingly chirping with each other, they finally decided this is the one where they want to raise a family this spring.

CHAFFEE, MO (KFVS) - A viewer sent us these pictures of a pair of eagles at Rockview near Chaffee on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

The viewer says:

Today I happened to be in the right place and truly at the right time.....the pictures tell it all. The bald eagle truly is something to watch. They are so romantic too. This guy courts his mate in the air...up near the clouds almost!!! These guys made my valentines a very special one to remember for a long time. Enjoy!

Only problem is the fish are almost too big to swallow.

SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Thursday, predicting six more weeks of winter, but Mr. Robin who lives in Sikeston says the groundhog is wrong.

The bird is busy pulling his lunch out of the ground with amazing accuracy.
