SIKESTON, MO (KFVS) - Police have arrested one man for allegedly firing a gun into a crowd, and 12 others for disorderly conduct.
On Sunday, Sikeston DPS responded to a disturbance with gunshots around the William and Clayton Street area.
According to Capt. James McMillen, officers received information about a fight that broke out at Westside Liquor located at 889 West Malone.
McMillen says the fight was reportedly broke up, but began again around 4:10 p.m. in the William and Clayton Street area.
The fight was broke up when someone allegedly pulled a firearm, and fired it in the crowd. Police say no one was injured.
Officers found the suspected shooter at 525 Malcolm and he was taken into custody.
Russel Lee Davis, 45 of Sikeston was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was given a $50,000 cash or surety bond through Scott County Court.
McMillen says several subjects who were actively involved in the two altercations were identified by investigators.
Officers had arrested all of the 12 people believed to be involved in these incidents on Wednesday.

Trayshawn A. Arterberry, 20, of Sikeston
Capt. McMillen says DPS takes this type of public disorder very seriously, and will not tolerate this type of “free-for-all” in the community. DPS encourages anyone with information about this incident or similar ones to contact the department. Your tip can remain anonymous.
